Many people in our local area are unaware that behind the bustle of Burntwood Lane, there lies a wonderful golf course.  The Central London Golf Centre is open to all, and boasts a nine-hole pay and play golf course, floodlit driving range, golf lessons for all abilities with their PGA coaching team and a clubhouse and function suite at the heart of the complex.

Proud of their reputation for making golf accessible to all members of the community, they decided to give something back to their local community recently when they held a Golf Tournament to raise funds for St George’s Hospital Charity, their local charity.

It was a hot July day, and the tournament was very well supported, with a juniors competition followed by the adults competition, a raffle and food and refreshments; a wonderful way to start the summer holidays for the children and their families.  The photo above shows General Manager Mike Anscomb in the centre with the winning team Nicky, Babar, Ari and Nick.

The day also raised an impressive £650 for St George’s Hospital Charity.  Thank you CLGC!
